The DC bias magnetic arc suppression coil is generally of the adjustable type,which utilizes an external DC excitation current to change the magnetic reluctance of the iron core,thereby achieving the purpose of changing the reactance value of the arc suppression coil.During normal operation of the power grid,no excitation current is applied,and the arc suppression coil is adjusted to a state away from the resonance point to avoid the generation of series resonance overvoltage without the need for damping resistors.At the same time,the magnitude of the capacitive current is detected in real time.When a single-phase grounding fault occurs in the power grid,the arc suppression coil is instantly adjusted to implement optimal compensation.It has a fully static structure,a wide adjustment range,and fast adjustment speed.However,the disadvantage is the need to add DC current.
